Description: This ad is for Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation, a non-for-profit organization in the city that encourages home owners to plant trees in their back yards. The foundation also raises money and provides educational programming to school kids as well as plants trees in Toronto's parks! The commercial will be shot live-action-animation and focuses around a hopeful young sapling who just wants to be given a new home. One day he spots a young couple with a child and knows this is the right family for him. The spot follows the sapling on its adventure following the couple home.We are looking to cast the family.
Talent Type: Male / 31-40 yrs. / Any Ethnicity Young professional father of one. He is married to his high school sweet heart. His career has taken off and they have a very comfortable life in the city. He's always valued nature and although he wants to live close to downtown he still wants to have a home that has lots of trees and a garden. A perfect balance between urban and rural. Either gender / 6-10 yrs. / Any Ethnicity Robin is a happy carefree child. But when she/he sees the little sapling in the garden center she/he knows that it belongs with her/his family. When her/his parents decide not to buy the young tree she/he is heart broken, but is in for a surprise when the sapling follows them home!
